All teachers Syllabus Study – March with Tricia Booth
This learning experience is open to ALL Iyengar yoga teachers who wish to work intensively on the syllabus at Level 1 and Level 2; in particular poses that may be new or unfamiliar to them. It will cover approaches to working on and practising the poses, as well as how to teach them. One of the defining aspects of teaching Iyengar Yoga is our ability to adjust and assist students. The art of adjustment is an integral part of these sessions. In Iyengar Yoga we have an ongoing system of education, training and development of ourselves as practitioners and the connection with our inner teacher and our Senior teachers who share and impart their knowledge with us.
It is important and reassuring to know that we are not defined by a qualification, by our stiffnesses, injuries, age, physical limitations nor by our physical abilities. We are all yoga students who are privileged to teach others and are not in a rush to get anywhere other than to our yoga practice and development. Our syllabus study events are to be enjoyed and experiences shared.
Tricia Booth will lead this dive into the postures and guide us with the new syllabus, come along, all welcome! Please contact Tricia for requests and themes you would like to continue learning about: tricia@booth1.plus.com
Please note: This workshop is in person.
If you have a specific question or would like to explore a particular pose, please contact the teacher to ask and they will try to build this in to the workshop, if possible. Please book well in advance, if possible, to allow the teacher to plan.
