SUMMARY:Christian Pisano Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The Field of Consciousness:\n“The body is the mandala of the
perpetual play of Shiva and Shakti.”  Abhinavagupta\nAbout The Weekend\
nA three-day workshop with one of the most senior Iyengar Yoga teachers in
the world.\n\nWe are delighted that Christian Pisano will be teaching thi
s event at MDIY.\nAlthough Christian Pisano has practiced Iyengar Yoga for
more than 40 years\, his journey has gradually become one of unlearning a
nd deconstructing everything he had acquired in order to uncover what trul
y matters to him something that belongs to no system.\nHe feels much more
like a wanderer of yoga and embraces this joyful wandering as the very hea
rt of his exploration. His approach points directly to the self-evident na
ture of Consciousness. We are already what we are seeking\, even if we hav
e not yet recognised it. His teaching gives priority to the spontaneous in
struction that can arise at the heart of each āsana and to the recognitio
n of an innate\, living pedagogy that belongs to all of us\, but which we
have so often forgotten.\n\n\n\nFriday evening \n\n17:00-19-30\n\nSaturda
