DESCRIPTION:Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training is a course that te
 aches people how to respond to emergencies in the workplace. The training 
 includes theory and practical work\, such as treating burns\, controlling 
 bleeding\, and performing CPR. This course is open to all our members\, te
 achers\, students\, trainees and friends.\n\nWhat do you learn in EFAW tra
 ining? \n\n 	How to treat burns\n 	How to control bleeding\n 	How to perf
 orm CPR\n 	How to manage fractures\, dislocations\, and sprains\n 	How to 
 treat eye injuries\n 	How to deal with foreign objects\n\nWhat is the EFAW
  certificate?\n\n 	The EFAW certificate shows that you have completed the 
 training and are able to provide emergency first aid\n 	The certificate is
  valid for three years\n 	To renew the certificate\, you must retake the c
 ourse\n\nIs EFAW training a legal requirement? \n\n 	Whether EFAW trainin
 g is a legal requirement depends on your employer and the risk assessment 
 for your workplace\n\nPrice: £65 members/£70 non members\n\nBooking and 
 cancellation policy: MDIY members will take priority over non-members. MDI
 Y will refund the cost of tickets (less a £5 administration charge) if no
 tice of cancellation is received more than 7 days before the event. Cancel
 lations received less than 7 days before the event will not be refunded.
