SUMMARY:Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW)
DESCRIPTION:Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training is a course that te
 aches people how to respond to emergencies in the workplace. The training 
 includes theory and practical work\, such as treating burns\, controlling 
 bleeding\, and performing CPR. This course is open to all our members\, te
 achers\, students\, trainees and friends. Our course leader\, John Kennedy
  makes this course engaging\, practical and interactive.\n\n[caption id="a

  learn in EFAW training? \n\n 	How to treat soft tissue injuries\n 	How t
 o treat burns\n 	How to control bleeding\n 	How to perform CPR\n 	How to m
 anage fractures\, dislocations\, and sprains\n 	How to treat eye injuries\
 n 	How to deal with foreign objects\n 	How to deal with people in an emerg
 ency\n\nWhat is the EFAW certificate?\n\n 	The EFAW certificate shows that
  you have completed the training and are able to provide emergency first a
 id\n 	The certificate is valid for three years\n 	To renew the certificate
 \, you must retake the course\n\nIs EFAW training a legal requirement? \n
 \n 	Whether EFAW training is a legal requirement depends on your employer 
 and the risk assessment for your workplace\n\nPrice: £65 members/£70 non
  members\n\nBooking and cancellation policy: MDIY members will take priori
 ty over non-members. MDIY will refund the cost of tickets (less a £5 admi
 nistration charge) if notice of cancellation is received more than 7 days 
 before the event. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the event
  will not be refunded.
