Exchange of Learning Day – Yoga through the ages, for all ages

Exchange of Learning Days, (EL) are a great learning opportunity for all teachers and trainee teachers.  There is a chance for everyone to share knowledge and experiences in a friendly environment.  These sessions are not assessed in any way.

This year we are exploring the practice of Yoga throughout life, starting in childhood and going all the way to old age. Our aim is to discuss ways of working with students at all stages in their lives, taking into account the various issues that may arise on this journey.
We will investigate teaching particular age groups, and take into consideration that many teachers have classes with a wide range of ages.

As all Iyengar Yoga teachers will be required to have a minimum of 20 hours face to face training for their 2025/26 renewal This is the second of our three days. The day provides 5 hours of learning.

Attending a Exchange of Learning day would normally form part of your continuing professional development hours for your membership.  For this reason EoL days are run in tandem with the membership renewal year from 1st April 2024 – 31st March 2025.

Booking and cancellation policy: MDIY members will take priority over non-members. MDIY will refund the cost of tickets (less a £5 administration charge) if notice of cancellation is received more than 7 days before the event. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the event will not be refunded.
