Women’s Health Therapy Workshop
Women go through many changes throughout their life, menstruation, pregnancy and delivery, menopause and all that all those stages encompass. This short introductory workshops will cover some aspects of these different stages of life. We will look at general aspects to help everyone, rather than individual symptoms and cases. This workshop is suitable for both students and teachers but teachers will benefit from the time being classed as specialised training.
The workshop is being taught by:
Yelena Grigorenko
Yelena is a Level III teacher and has studied yoga therapy with Lois Steinberg. She has visited our mother institute in Pune many times and helped out in the medical classes there. She is a Registered Therapy teacher with the IY(UK).
Sarah Pettitt
Sarah is a Level II teacher and has been studying and helping out in the therapy class for 8 years. She has also visited Pune many times and has been taught by Geeta, Prashant and Abhijata Iyengar there.
Booking Policy:
- You must inform the teachers of any serious health conditions before turning up on the day. Please contact Sarah or Yelena.
- We use PayPal to process transactions, however you can use ANY debit/credit card to pay – choose the “Guest User” option on the payment page and you will be asked for your card details. You may have to uncheck the sliding button to pay as a Guest.
- MDIY members: If you only see the non-member rates, this means you are not logged in properly; please try logging in again. If this doesn’t work, please email webmaster@mdiiy.org.uk.
- Non-members: You need to be logged in to book; please create a (free) basic account to book classes/events.
If you are attending in-person:
- If you have not booked online but want to check whether you can come on the day, please call Sarah on 07505969426.
- Payment is required in advance. You can pay with cash or a card on the door (if there are places available); but you will not be able to attend the class without payment. If you do need to pay on the door, please arrive at least 10 minutes before the published event start time, to minimise disruption during the class.
- We will close the building 20 mins after the event finishes.
- We will not tolerate behaviour that our members or volunteers find intimidating or inappropriate, including refusing to leave when asked. We reserve the right to remove membership and/or refuse future entry in the event of such behaviour.
