AGM & Workshop (face to face) with Debbie Bartholomew

Our Annual General Meeting will take place at 10am on Saturday 14th November; all members are encouraged to attend and hear from your committee about what we’ve done over the previous 12 months.  We’ll be talking about the key things we’ve done, any challenges we’re facing, answer your questions, and present our accounts – remember that our members own our assets, so this is about how we are using your money to bring you more yoga!

We’re following the AGM with more yoga!

We are delighted that Debbie is teaching the traditional post AGM workshop again.  Debbie loves teaching anyone, all students no matter what level of experience. In her own words Debbie says:

“I try my best to make the poses simple, clear and easy to understand so even if you can’t do the full pose you know what you are supposed to be doing! I try to teach which actions are required to achieve a safe, accurate pose. That’s the beauty of the Iyengar method. We value alignment, precision and correct extension. So that you achieve the pose safely. The study of alignment, precision, extension and the breath brings your mind to a quiet state. Definitely not to be missed! This all sounds very serious and we do work hard but we also have fun, playing around with the poses. Honestly, if I can do yoga anyone can!!”

Please come and join us for coffee before the AGM – doors open 9.30am

AGM 10am – 10.25am

Workshop will begin after the AGM, and finish at 1.30pm

What if I want to attend the AGM but not the workshop?

We’d love to see you – to attend in-person, please come along to the centre on the day, no need to book.  If you would like to attend online, please register below to receive the link.

What if I want to attend the workshop but not the AGM?

That’s fine – but please be aware we won’t be answering the door during our AGM so you may have to wait outside for us to finish the meeting.
