Directions

BY CAR

From Manchester city centre, follow the A57 to Sheffield signs on to the M67. Exit at Junction 1 and turn left on to Ashton Old Road. At the second, signal-controlled junction, Shepley Road, turn right through the Shepley Industrial Estate. Bear left at the first mini-roundabout (the Globe Inn) and left again at the second mini-roundabout. Continue ahead then turn right into King Street. The building is on the left, 150 metres past the Town Hall.

Out of consideration to our neighbours, visitors to are asked not to park on the nearby streets outside residents’ homes. There are public pay and display car parks at Dukinfield Town Hall.

Further directions from other locations will be provided soon.

Liftshare.com is a good way of arranging to share your car journey and reduce your carbon footprint.

BY BUS

The 219 bus is a frequent service from Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester city centre to Ashton Bus Station. From there take the 330 bus in the direction of Hyde/Stockport. The 330 bus stops outside Dukinfield Town Hall.

The 220/221 bus is an hourly service from Piccadilly Gardens direct to Dukinfield.  However this route does not run at weekends!

BY METROLINK

The Manchester Metro now runs to Ashton Town Centre.

BY TRAIN

There is a half-hourly service from Manchester Victoria station to Ashton. The bus station is just across the road from the railway station. Take the 330 bus in the direction of Hyde/Stockport.

The nearest landmark is Dukinfield Town Hall.

If travelling from further afield, as well as the central Manchester stations, there is a station at Stockport which may be more convenient as it avoids the city centre; the 330 bus runs from Stockport bus station (a short walk from the train station) to Dukinfield Town Hall, or it’s about 15 minutes in a taxi.  Or if you’re coming from east of the Pennines, Stalybridge station is another option, about 10 minutes’ drive away. https://www.thetrainline.com/business

Other local stations within 20 minutes’ drive are Hyde Central, Flowery Field, or Newton for Hyde.

If you’re taking the bus from Stockport/airport, take the 330 bus towards Ashton; the centre is less than 2 minutes away on the same road.
