Last year Garth returned to MDIY.  A long awaited visit and what a wonderful weekend it was.  So of course Garth is back.

Garth takes over our regular online restorative session:

“We all have a nervous system and can benefit from a restorative practice. A restorative
practice can offer the practitioner rest, recovery and recuperation for the muscles and
internal organs of the body. This can often provide a deeper rest for the body and mind
than sleep. When asanas are done in preparation for and in combination with
pranayama (breath work), a restorative practice can revitalize and aid in physical and
mental recovery from any fatigue that may be present. I personally look to a restorative
and pranayama practice to help ease stress, calm the nerves, rejuvenate the body and
mind. This can help to conserve energy.” Garth McLean

Weekend Programme:

Friday 8th Nov – 12:30 – 2:30pm Level 3 class for all those with experience, £20 members, £25 non-members.
Friday 8th Nov – 6 – 7pm Garth takes over our regular online restorative class on zoom, £6 members, £10 non-members.
Saturday 9th Nov10am – 10:30am AGM All welcome -FREE
10:30am – 1pm & 2 – 4pm intro workshop for all, general level, a weekend workshop with focus on balancing and enhancing the function of the nervous system through Iyengar Yoga.  £25m/£30nm for am session and £20m/£25nm pm session.
Sunday 10th Nov 10am – 1pm. Adapting to the Needs of the Nervous System and Nervous System Conditions, £30 members, £35 non-members.

Booking cut off time for this event is 5:15pm.

It is essential that you inform Clare Tunstall or Garth McLean of any serious illness or injury in the days (or weeks) leading up to this event.  Do not leave it until the day.

We use PayPal to process transactions, however you can use ANY debit/credit card to pay – choose the “Guest User” option on the payment page and you will be asked for your card details.

You will proceed only at your sole discretion and at your own risk.
  • You further understand that you take full responsibility for participating in and completing the recommended yoga positions to the best of your ability.

Booking and cancellation policy (in-person and online attendees)

MDIY members will take priority over non-members. MDIY will refund the cost of tickets (less a £5 administration charge) if notice of cancellation is received more than 7 days before the event. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the event will not be refunded.
